ABOUT GALLANT CONSULTING GROUP

Empowering Organizations to Succeed

Driving Innovation

I currently work with publicly traded and privately held companies with revenues ranging from $50 million to over $75 billion, with multiple start-ups and with a variety of non-profits operating locally, nationally and globally.  I have particular expertise working with businesses that have an exceptional brand or legacy and understand that while driving innovation, we must also take great care to preserve what is also working well. I am highly sought by a network of leaders for my work with startups when they have found their product/market fit and recognize the need to build a strong culture with great leaders as they scale up. For the past 18 years, my practice has grown exponentially mainly through referrals from those who have worked with me and through word of mouth.

Shaping Leaders and Future Coaches

Leadership and Mentorship

As senior faculty at iCoach Global, I serve as both an instructor and mentor coach. I have an MS in Organizational Development and, as a 2007 iCoach graduate myself, received exceptional post-graduate training in Executive Coaching prior to launching my practice.  I have been a featured speaker on numerous panels, addressing topics such as the boundaries between psychology and coaching, bias and equity, and building executive presence.  I provide team and group coaching as part of my coaching work with C-suite leaders and as stand-alone learning events and have published numerous articles in Forbes and other industry platforms. I also provide on-going supervision to other executive coaches.

Aligning Leadership and Vision

Fostering authentic growth

My team and I work with boards and senior executive teams in conjunction with the CEO, helping them to optimize the relationship of governance, leadership, and vision, for both non-profit and for-profit sectors.

I believe that we should all be encouraged to bring all of who we are, and what we value most, to the work we do.

Clients come from all over the US, Canada, Europe and Asia. We work virtually and in person.

Standing Meeting

“I don’t always want to be the person who is asked to lead DEI initiatives, as if I am part of the problem and also responsible for the solution”.

“I have watched others with less talent and skill, get promoted. I feel unrecognized.”

"I want to be able to take a strong stance on a topic without worrying about being marginalized for speaking out."

“I sometimes feel that as an Asian woman, I am less effective at using my influence as a way of being seen, heard and valued for my opinion.”

“I don’t really know how to use my voice”.

“I am reluctant to take a dissenting stance. As the only black man in the room, I do not want to be perceived as pushing back hard.”

“It’s exhausting to hide my identity every single day and in every interaction.”

Here's what our clients have to say:

"Karyn operates with the utmost integrity and confidentiality, even when coaching multiple executives within the same organization. I always felt completely comfortable being open and transparent with her, knowing that my thoughts and concerns were in the best possible hands. Karyn is not just a coach but a true thought partner, helping leaders navigate complex challenges and emerge stronger and more effective. For anyone seeking to elevate their leadership capabilities, Karyn is an invaluable resource and partner. "
